Module 11

1. Explain why you selected each of the TWO videos you choose from the selection listed above.

I've never heard of these artists before, only when they came up to pick. I chose Matisse and Picasso and the second one was the mystical north: Spanish art from the 19th century to the present. 

2. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned.

The first one I learned that their artworks are so beautiful and they used Paris for most of their works and what they wanted it to look like but then it started changing. 

The second video I learned that most of the artworks were very violent and showed the war to the people. People are ruining the building that used to be so beautiful and now its turning into Disney land for tourists. 

2. How do the videos relate to the readings in the text?

Were learning about these artists in the book and the techniques they used back then. 

3. What is your opinion of the films? How do they add depth to understanding of the readings and art concepts?

 I liked them because they show a lot of information but I wished they were just a little shorter.
